Nanny's needs

A survey of 127 nannies and childcarer students conducted by www.bestbear.co.uk makes interesting reading. It confirms that a high salary comes a poor third in the list of desirable assets. The top most important things listed by the participants were a good relationship with the family, and the number and age of the children. Only 7% of those taking part were prepared to take a job based on salary alone. The things nannies felt parents should know about them is that they work hard, have a life outside work and that they don't like to be exploited by being given non-childcare jobs to do.
