If you want a flood of nanny candidates, it would help to be mega famous; Posh Spice and David Beckham are the most popular celebrity couple that nannies would like to work for, followed by Davina McCall, Madonna and Guy Richie. Other favourites include Zöe Ball and Fat Boy Slim, Kate Winslet, Ronan Keating and Michelle Collins. The findings come from a survey conducted by childcare information service bestbear.co.uk during National Childcare Week at the end of May. For ordinary mortals, the key is concentrating on building a good relationship - only 7% of the nannies surveyed would accept a job solely based on salary; their priorities were to feel their skills are valued and acknowledged.
