A WHICH? Report on Nanny Agencies has recently called on the Government to develop a comprehensive national nanny registration scheme. In the meantime, they recommend that parents use Best Bear’s website www.bestbear.co.uk, on the basis that Best Bear uses a methodology similar to theirs approaching agencies with a relatively inexperienced nanny and asking probing questions. Best Bear has contacted over a thousand agencies and their website recommends only those that pass their test. Of the 849 agencies they checked last year, they recommend only 213 and their research is on-going, ensuring that parents continue to trust agencies listed on the site.
