The aim at Enchanted First Aid is to provide the most up to date information in how to give life saving skills in an emergency and keeping children safe. All our courses are approved by a leading HSE approved training organisation and meet the standards of OFSTED and EYFS guidelines. We provide bespoke childcare training courses using our experience of running Enchanted Childcare Nanny Agency which has been operating for 26 years.

This one day course is ideal for those who are applying to be OFSTED registered as a nanny and suitable for parents, au-pairs, babysitters and sports coaches. At the end of the course all delegates receive a first aid certificate valid for 3 years.

If you are a childminder or work within the Early Years Foundation stage, you are required to have a 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate. We have trained childminders and carers of children with over 10 years experience in specialist paediatric first aid. They also run 12 hour paediatric courses to comply with guidelines set by OFSTED.

As with most first aid classes, they teach the practical skills needed to respond to medical accidents and emergencies. However they also aim to build parents and carers belief in their own abilities, and empower them to respond confidently in an emergency.

Classes cover what do if a baby or child is choking, not breathing or unconscious, first responder actions for common accidents and injuries, recognizing high risk signs of illness and assessing the injured or ill child.

Easy-to-read wall charts are provided to support the classes and a certificate of attendance will be issued after the class.
