Enchanted are pleased to be working with NEST (Newborn Educational Services & Training) to provide non-medical Maternity Nurse Training.

The Enchanted Short Courses in Post-Natal Care / non-medical Maternity Nursing are held in Surrey currently and soon to be offered in Essex and Kent.

The Enchanted course in Postnatal Care / non-medical Maternity Nursing carries 12 credits, the highest accreditation of any course of its kind to date and carries Level 3 accreditation (equivalent NVQ 3); the course is accredited by the OCNOTC

The course is held over 2 days (weekends) at the training centre with 6 weeks research and home study to complete coursework (there are no exams!)

The cost is £460, which includes the course manual, stationery refreshments throughout (including ‘proper’ meals – the sort we would expect a PNC to advise a ‘new’ mother to eat), ongoing tutorials, advice and support, visiting lecturers and accreditation fees.

The Courses are held at weekends to accommodate those who cannot take time off from work or family during weekdays. It is Enchanted policy that we do not work with more than 10 students per session to offer the best possible standard of teaching practice and to ensure all students have the opportunity to receive quality individual time and attention.


The Enchanted Course covers a wide range of topics, including the following:
