Montessori Nurseries

Montessori schools and nurseries are run along the principals established by founder Maria Montessori. Her view was that children are naturally motivated to learn, and it is for the adults to provide the appropriate activities at the right stage in their development that enables them to learn without effort.

The Montessori method of teaching works on the basis that a child should be able to complete an activity in their own time; that they should have choice over what they do; that the equipment used should be of high quality and easily accessible for all the children; that they learn to become self-sufficient and that they are taught with kindness.
